We are expecting baby girl # 2 on November 16...she has yet to be named, which adds to my already ridiculous unreasonable guilt, although we have a bunch of names on the table. It's been much harder this time, as I guess, we picked our favorite with Julia Patricia! This pregnancy has been very different: lots more morning sickness in the beginning, to the point of dehydration, second trimester was easy-breezy, with no hand or feet swelling which was SOO not the case with Jules, and this third trimester has bought it's share of crazy strong Braxton Hicks contractions, and lots of movement...More so than I recall the first time around. I'm officially uncomfortable, but try not to complain too much (sans Jason, he gets it all, poor guy!). It would be nice if sleep visited me once in a while, but that too, seems to be put on hold for the moment. Counting the days til maternity leave...being home with both girls will be wonderful.
And as for the word HOME!! We are anxiously awaiting a mortgage commitment on a house we went to contract on in July...I'm not saying much on this now as to not jinx us. Just sooo crossing our fingers for good news on Monday. More on that later...
25 minutes later, Jules is still up!!
I am crossing my fingers for her to get some solid sleep in before we go meet up with friends at Chuckie Cheese. I am a little terrified of what we may encounter there, as I have heard horror stories about this kid kingdom, yet, my girlfriend Jess assures me Jules will love it...Jay's at work today, so it's just me and the girls! Our outdoor plans to go to a Ren Fest got cancelled cause of the dreary weather....
She has begun singing Happy Birthday now..a nap may be wishful thinking at this point...
